Blog #2!

I would have to say that the past section of our reading assignment said some things that astounded me.  When it stated how many hours people spend watching TV, playing games, or pretty much spending time on anything that is electronic, it was very eye opening.  This was especially surprising to me, because growing up, I never had any type of video games, hand held games, or whatever people play now. (I dont know).  I had the "Go outside and get the stink blown off of you" kind of parents.  Overall, what I read and saw from the clips were similar in the way they surprised me.  I wish people could see how these things consume their life, and the beautiful outdoors that they are missing out on.

  1. I grew up exactly the same way. And it was either inside or outside, if we were running back and forth my parents would tell us to pick one but stop running in and out of the house haha.

  2. When I was younger, I didnt play with much technology. I would rather play outside or just do things that kids do. I loved playing with my dolls or even harassing my older brothers. So yes, I do think that it is a shame that all we have come to is to be technology bound and thats all we rely on.
