Blog #8

I think this book might compare to events that happen in real life, but I think it is highly unrealistic to think that this would actually happen.  I think that this could relate to other books we have read so far such as Feed, because of this reason.  I believe that in Feed, some aspects are true in real life, but it goes to an extreme, just like in Hunger Games.  I personally prefer books that are non-fiction rather than fiction such as this, so I have a very hard time getting interested/ connecting to characters.

I chose a work of art that relates to this particular book because of the violence that it involves.  Guernica, painted by Poblo Picasso in 1937,  was painted to show the tragedies of war and suffering, mostly on innocent civilians, during the Spanish Civil War.

  3. I certainly hope that this would never happen in our society, the thought of it is disturbing.

  4. I have to say that I am the opposite. In some cases, I can not read a whole fictional novel but I can not read a novel that is 100% non fictional. I would enjoy something that is both fictional and non fictional.
